Eight Associates and Adnitt Acoustics AVO Service Launch Event 9th September

1st September 2020

Introducing the Acoustics Ventilation and Overheating: Risk Assessment Service

A joint collaboration between Eight Associates and Adnitt Acoustics

Eight Associates and Adnitt Acoustics have joined their expert forces to create a must-have risk assessment service for architects and developers at RIBA Stage 1

Acoustics, ventilation and overheating each have stringent performance requirements, however, they all affect each other and until now have mostly been treated individually, which leads to conflicting design proposals and a slower planning submission

Eight Associates and Adnitt Acoustics have collaborated to establish a holistic approach to these
disciplines to inform the client and establish trade offs before design work takes place, meaning the optimal design solution is arrived at sooner

Key Benefits:

  • High level risk assessment at Stage 1
  • Quick turnaround; within 2 weeks
  • Straightforward, non-technical output to inform decision making
  • Very cost-effective
  • An essential piece of information for a developer at acquisition or feasibility stage
